First time being here and absolutely loved it. Great customer service from Christine. We had the Tokayaki, rainbow rolls and some mochi. All fresh and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend stopping here. Especially for happy hour and all you can eat everyday.

We had an incredible experience at Yama Sushi House from start to finish. It was my husband and I first time there. The restaurant itself has such a great atmosphere: clean, welcoming, and great ambience. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, beautifully prepared, and very flavorful. Every dish that came out was clearly made with care and attention to detail, and it truly showed in both the taste and presentation. What made our visit truly unforgettable, though, was our waitress May. She was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. May took the time to explain menu items, gave excellent recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her warm personality and genuine care made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Very good and tasty food, nice service. To my opinion the place is a little dark, the music doesn’t quite fit the vibe and tap water is not good. But it’s just me being picky. Sushi was really well made and the fish was high quality. Waitress did well. Nice place.

I just can’t understand why this place was empty on Sunday at 4 pm…it was our first time visiting and let me say everything was DELICIOUS. The service was top notch, fish was fresh and selection was great. Everyone can find something to their taste. And all this for AYCE price of 40 bucks per person. Extremely hard to come by in Scottsdale area. It will be our go to sushi place for now on. Please give it a try and let’s help this business keep their door open!

I ordered delivery from here one night and decided to try a few different things. We got the spicy tuna roll and California roll—both were tasted fresh. We also added an order of gyoza, which was solid and had a nice flavor. For mains, we tried the pineapple chicken and the omurice. Both were delicious! My only gripe was with the portion size of the pineapple chicken—it comes in a container that’s half rice, half chicken, and for $17, the amount of chicken felt a bit underwhelming. Typically, you’d expect a full container of chicken at that price point. Otherwise, everything was delish and I’d definitely order here again!

I love the food here. They have the best fried rice of any restaurant I’ve had. The only one that comes close to homemade. Plus they have an amazing happy hour menu with sushi on it so we can get a bunch of salmon nigiri for a great price.

This place is consistently fantastic! Particularly last night the hostess was a delight, the server (Kenzie) was very attentive and thoughtful, and the food was fantastic! We enjoyed sushi rolls and nigiri, and as a surprise the chef treated us to a salmon brûlée nigiri which was SO interesting and absolutely delicious. We will be back many times!!!!
